Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Manage complex accounts receivable/payable cycles for diverse client portfolios
- Lead audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and state/federal regulations
- Develop and implement financial controls to mitigate risk and improve efficiency
- Prepare executive dashboards and variance analysis for stakeholder presentations
- Mentor junior accountants and optimize accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Excel with macros
- Proven track record in managing multi-state compliance requirements
- Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling
