Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Manage general ledger operations and month-end closing processes
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance for portfolio companies
- Collaborate with tax professionals on quarterly tax filings and year-end provisions
- Develop financial models for budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Maintain client accounting records using QuickBooks and NetSuite platforms
- Lead financial reporting initiatives for venture-backed startups
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 4+ years of public accounting or corporate finance experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite)
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and financial statement preparation
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with audit procedures and internal controls
