Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements for diverse industry clients
- Lead audit preparation processes and liaise with external auditors
- Implement and optimize accounting systems to enhance efficiency
- Provide strategic financial guidance to clients during growth phases
- Mentor junior accounting staff on best practices and compliance standards
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure financial accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting experience with Big 4 or mid-tier firm
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (including Power Query)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and industry-specific compliance
- Proven track record of managing audit engagements and complex reconciliations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong client management and presentation abilities
