Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with actionable insights for leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and vendor management
- Lead audit preparations and ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
- Develop financial models and forecasting reports to inform strategic decisions
- Mentor junior accounting staff and optimize department workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate settings
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Proven track record of managing complex reconciliations and month-end closes
- Strong understanding of GAAP, SOX, and Arizona tax regulations
