Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for 15+ small business clients
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and payroll coordination
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks, Xero)
- Conduct tax compliance reviews and support audit preparations
- Mentor junior accounting staff during peak periods
- Develop financial forecasting models for client growth initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Proven track record of managing multi-client portfolios
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
