Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for corporate and individual clients
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and payroll coordination
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations (IRS, AZ Dept of Revenue)
- Implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial strategy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience in public/private sector
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of Arizona tax laws and compliance requirements
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Active Arizona CPA license or willingness to obtain immediately
