As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization. Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage general ledger functions, including account reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity within the accounting system.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
