Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance analysis
- Manage general ledger operations and account reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Develop and implement financial controls and internal audit procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and SOX requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance
- Experience with multi-state tax filings and audits
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven track record in process improvement initiatives
