Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for diverse clientele in the hospitality and retail sectors
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely processing of transactions
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with audit teams and respond to inquiries from stakeholders
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) to maintain accurate financial records
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate accounting
- Proficiency in GAAP and experience with multi-entity accounting
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial modeling
- Experience with QuickBooks Online and Sage 100 ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for client and stakeholder interactions
