Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP standards
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and optimize cash flow operations
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives for departmental and organizational goals
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements for financial controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial modeling and strategic planning
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely regulatory reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or private sector
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Demonstrated success in financial reporting, analysis, and compliance
