Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable functions and payroll processing
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights to leadership
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Lead audit preparation processes and respond to regulatory inquiries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or private sector
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel with advanced functions
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial controls
- Proven ability to manage complex reconciliations and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
