As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for the accuracy of our financial reporting and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
- General Ledger Management: Oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
- Reconciliation: Perform complex bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and variance analysis to identify discrepancies and improve cash flow management.
- Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to internal controls, federal, state, and local tax laws, and financial regulations.
- Process Improvement: Streamline accounting processes and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and data integrity.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support budget preparation and forecasting initiatives.
- Audit Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors during annual audits, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in accounting, with a strong background in financial analysis and reporting.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) and experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Sage) is mandatory.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable business intelligence.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with a high degree of accuracy and meet strict deadlines.
