Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, for internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform complex monthly and quarterly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
- Support external audits and tax preparation by providing requested documentation and explanations.
- Identify process improvements and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA certification is a strong plus).
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal controls.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all departments.
