Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- General Ledger Management: Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Compliance: Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure full compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Process Improvement: Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce errors.
- Payroll Support: Prepare payroll reports and ensure accurate payroll processing for all employees.
- Budgeting: Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage the annual budget.
- Audit Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors during the annual audit process.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required.
- Experience: 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and internal controls.
- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Work Ethic: Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
