Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger entries and reconciliation of bank statements.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast budgets and track expenses.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
