Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Manage and oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure accuracy.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns and filings.
- Conduct internal audits and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met with zero errors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in accounting or finance.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically advanced Excel functions.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of internal controls, financial regulations, and tax laws.
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.
