Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist in the budgeting process and provide variance analysis to management.
- Collaborate with the external audit team to ensure a smooth audit process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
