Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and assist external auditors during the annual review process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Deep understanding of GAAP and federal tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
