Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage general ledger accounts and ensure the proper reconciliation of bank statements and fixed assets.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax professionals during year-end and quarterly reviews.
- Identify process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and data accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- CPA certification is a strong plus.
