Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns and ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular internal audits and reconcile bank statements to identify discrepancies and improve financial controls.
- Collaborate with the management team to provide accurate financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Maintain the general ledger and support month-end and year-end close processes efficiently.
- Implement and improve internal financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a strong plus).
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- High level of integrity and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
