Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and timely.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Process and monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and support the internal and external audit processes.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and provide variance analysis.
- Collaborate with department heads to assist in budget planning and forecasting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and MS Excel (advanced functions required).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
