About the Role:
In this key role, you will be responsible for managing financial reporting, maintaining accurate ledgers, and ensuring compliance with GAAP standards. You will work closely with management to provide financial insights and support our strategic growth objectives.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
- Oversee the general ledger and ensure the accuracy of all financial records.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliation of bank accounts and intercompany accounts.
- Conduct variance analysis and assist in budget preparation and forecasting.
- Assist with external audits and internal controls reviews.
- Prepare and file necessary tax documents and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
