Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations and general ledger account analyses.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and process improvement recommendations.
- Maintain and organize financial records, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a strong plus.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
