Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly and year-end closing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and review complex financial statements and management accounts.
- Ensure full compliance with UK tax regulations, VAT, and HMRC requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors and internal stakeholders to resolve financial queries.
- Assist in the budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and internal controls.
- Conduct regular financial audits and implement process improvements.
Qualifications
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification (Fully Qualified).
- 3+ years of post-qualification experience in a similar role within the UK.
- Strong working knowledge of UK GAAP and tax legislation.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
