Your Role
As a Senior Accountant, you will oversee key financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance while optimizing processes to support our business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries are accurate, timely, and reconciled.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Supervise the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and provide variance analysis to management.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and internal controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial reporting and forecasting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
