Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements including balance sheets and income reports
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and reconciliation processes
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and maintain accurate financial records
- Support budget preparation and variance analysis initiatives
- Collaborate with senior accountants on audit preparations and documentation
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/Oracle) for transaction processing
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software applications
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and financial regulations
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Certification (CPA/CMA) preferred but not required for entry level
