Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Conduct internal audits and assist external auditors during year-end reviews.
- Prepare and file state and federal tax returns, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Streamline financial reporting systems and implement process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control procedures.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong communication skills, capable of presenting financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
