Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee the general ledger and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasting.
- Perform variance analysis and provide insights to management on financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and Microsoft Excel (Advanced).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management.
