Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Assist in the annual external audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
- Conduct variance analysis to help drive business decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- CPA or CMA certification is highly desired.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically advanced Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
