Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger reconciliation and month-end close procedures.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and accurate billing.
- Conduct internal audits and assist external auditors during the annual review process.
- Develop and maintain accurate budget forecasts and financial models.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA certification is a plus.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
