Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial audits.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all invoices are recorded correctly.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals during tax season.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
