Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Prepare detailed balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analyses
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
- Lead tax preparation and compliance initiatives
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record in month-end closing processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- San Diego local candidates strongly preferred
