Your Role:
You will be responsible for managing financial reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards, and supporting the month-end close process. This is a pivotal role that offers visibility across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, variance analyses, and internal management reports.
- Manage general ledger accounts, including reconciliation of balance sheet and income statement accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
- Maintain accurate fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
- Streamline accounting processes and implement best practices for efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
