Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with a high degree of accuracy.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable reconciliation processes to ensure timely and error-free transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and provide variance analysis to management.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and internal policies.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax preparers during year-end audits.
- Streamline accounting workflows and implement best practices for financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- CPA certification is a strong plus but not strictly required.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
