Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations, including general ledger reconciliation and month-end close processes.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and assist department heads with variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and tax requirements.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Prepare tax documentation and assist external auditors during the annual review process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
