Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis, ensuring 100% accuracy.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and support the external audit process.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
- Streamline accounting processes and implement best practices to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to budget, forecast, and manage financial projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is required; advanced Excel skills are a plus.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
