Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Conduct thorough bank reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax filings and support for external audits.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial reporting and forecasting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience; CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong working knowledge of federal and state tax laws and financial regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
