What You Will Do:
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all financial records.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and provide variance analysis to management.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely processing and accurate reporting.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and internal controls.
- Collaborate with external auditors during year-end audits and provide necessary documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
