Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate financial recording of all transactions.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and support external audits.
- Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Mentor junior accounting staff and assist in training initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
