Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and audit schedules.
- Identify process improvements and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risk.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff to foster a high-performance team environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
