Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring strict adherence to GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Oversee the general ledger, managing journal entries and performing complex account reconciliations.
- Lead the external audit process, acting as the primary liaison between internal teams and external auditors.
- Conduct variance analysis to provide actionable insights to senior management for improved business performance.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, including the preparation of tax returns.
- Streamline accounting workflows and implement automated solutions to increase operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree or CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
