Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and variance reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and federal/state regulations
- Lead internal audits and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic financial planning
- Mentor junior accountants and optimize accounting workflows
- Utilize ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) for financial reporting and analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA/MBA preferred
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP compliance, financial reporting, and audit procedures
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, SAP, and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
