Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage general ledger reconciliations and resolve complex accounting discrepancies
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and optimize cash flow management
- Coordinate internal audits and support external examinations with documentation
- Develop financial models and variance analyses for budget forecasting
- Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation strongly preferred
- 5+ years progressive experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expertise in GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel with pivot tables/VLOOKUP
- Proven track record of leading month-end closing processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written/verbal communication and stakeholder management abilities
