Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Accountant to join our elite finance team. This is an Immediate Hire position based in Jacksonville, FL, with the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the United States.

Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end audits and tax filings in compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize budgeting, forecasting, and expense management processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA certification is a strong plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros) and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage).
- Deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and make recommendations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a remote-first mindset.
