In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing strategic financial insights to drive business growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and on a timely basis.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Conduct variance analysis between actual results and budgets to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely billing and payments.
- Implement and improve internal controls and financial policies to mitigate risk.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, IRS regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote or hybrid environment.
