Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations and ensure accurate recording of transactions.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in external and internal audits by providing required documentation and support.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Support budget preparation and variance analysis for department heads.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
