Responsibilities
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes with a focus on high accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, for executive review.
- Ensure strict compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as internal control policies.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all transactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial forecasting models and assist in the annual budgeting process.
- Conduct internal audits to identify financial risks and implement corrective actions.
- Assist in tax preparation and coordinate with external auditors during annual reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and present insights clearly.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present findings to non-financial stakeholders.
- Experience with tax compliance requirements and regulatory reporting.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
