Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage general ledger activities, including complex journal entries and inter-company reconciliations.
- Lead the annual external audit process and coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely completion.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Analyze financial data to identify variances, trends, and opportunities for cost reduction.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable workflows to optimize cash flow.
- Collaborate with department heads to prepare accurate budgets and long-term financial forecasts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; Master’s degree or CPA certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or financial management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
