Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, managing vendor relationships and cash flow.
- Assist in the preparation of annual federal and state tax returns, ensuring full compliance with tax laws.
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare journal entries for complex accounting scenarios.
- Conduct internal audits and recommend process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA or CMA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
