Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for leadership
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes ensuring GAAP compliance
- Prepare and present financial statements, budgets, and variance analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements and system implementations
- Ensure internal controls are maintained and SOX compliance is upheld
- Mentor junior accountants and support continuous team development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks; ERP system experience required
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive-level reporting
- Proven track record of improving financial processes and controls
